Twin Creeks Golf Final Day for this year is Sunday, October 23, 2016

Good Morning Members,

As many of you are already aware, Sunday will be the last day for golf this season. The golf course will be closed starting Monday, October 24^th, 2016.  The membership pricing will be emailed to you and we will begin accepting membership applications in the spring.

It has been a real pleasure serving and getting to know all of you this year.  I want to wish all of you a warm and healthy winter season and stay tuned for our league registration dates and course opening date for next year!

Marlwood Golf Men's League Final Event Results September 25, 2016

A member of our Club, Jim Williamson, bought and donated a new trophy, the Super Senior Award, to be awarded annually to a long standing member of Marlwood Men’s League, who had attained a specific age, had remained active in the golfing community and who had shown integrity and leadership in the Men’s League.

George Howie announced this year’s co-recipient long time Marlwood member Harry Palmer to a standing ovation by the membership, and went on to outline some of Harry’s contributions to the league, the golf course and some golf stories, previously untold, and the fact Harry has been in the men’s league for many years.  

This year’s other co-recipient Ed Darichuk was introduced by his weekly playing partner Don Gowland, again to a standing ovation from the membership. Don outlined some of Ed’s exploits both on and off the golf course and it was noted that Ed has been a member of the men’s league for many years.

Well done Harry and Ed!!!!!!!!
