Obituary for Gary Mitchell
After a courageous battle with cancer Gary passed away on May 31, 2013 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Elieen for 52 years. Loving father to Rhonda (Chris), Eleanor (Don) and Marg (Ken). Proud grandpa of Shawn (Jennifer), Patrick, David, Scotty & Molly. Great grandpa to Baby Liam. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Boyd, CCAC & St. Elizabeth’s staff, his nurses and especially Nancy. Special thanks to the PSW staff, Anne-Marie & Samantha for their devoted care and support. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service, as per Gary’s wishes. Donations in his memory can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Georgian Triangle Humane Society.
